How do I Play Bocci Ball?

Bocci ball is played between two teams of one or more players. The object of bocci ball is to bowl your bocci balls as close as possible to a small ball called the jack. To start a game, one team throws the jack from one end of a court to the other. The team that throws the jack is the team that bowls first. Then, the other team bowls. From then on, the team who does not have the ball closest to the jack bowls. Play continues until all 4 balls of each team have been thrown.

Counting Points in Bocci Ball

The team with the closest ball to the jack is the only team that scores. For each ball that is closer to the jack than the opponent's closest ball, the scoring team receives one point. To win a match of bocci ball, a team must earn 10 points.

Where can I Play Bocci Ball?

Anywhere! Play at the beach, at a park, or in space! However, competitive bocci ball matches are played in bocci ball courts; these courts are 60 to 100 feet long about 10 feet wide, and made of clay, asphalt, or fine sand.
